Neuschwanstein Castle
Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany`s most famous building, is the fairy tale king´s medieval castle of the Grail. Every year millions of visitors stream into the palace of the shy king Ludwig II., who died under misterious circumstances in lake Starnberg.

Hohenschwangau Castle
In the 19. century this castle was built on the fond of an old ruin by the father of Ludwig II. The interior of the "Biedermeier"- epoche has been maintained until now.

This palace was also built by Ludwig II.and for many Ludwig fans its even the finest.The Hall of Mirrors, the Palace Park with its Moorisk Kiosk and the Peacock´s Throne as well as the artificial grotto with a wave machine, through which the king was rowed in his shell boat ,are some of the exceptiional sights.

High palace of Füssen
The former residence of the Augsburg prince bishops, with unique illusionist paintings on the facades of the courtyard, is one of the most important late gothic castle complexes in Germany. It now houses the Town Gallery of Paintings and a branch of the bavarian State Collections of Paintings, where late gothic and renaissance works of art are on display.
